It isn’t fair. It’s not fair that after all that we’ve been through. That after I’d realized I was in love with you. After you’d told me you were in love with me. After you promised that we would be together once you’re in college. After the future I had in mind together, you decide to take it away as if it weren’t there in the first place. I am bitter. Who’s to say I shouldn’t be? I shared with you the most that I’ve ever shared with anyone. Every song that should’ve represented me, now represents us, a broken relationship. Every place that I would’ve called my own, that would’ve been my favorite place, is now our place, the place where we ate that one time, the place where we held hands, the place where we gazed at the horizon, the place when we were together.
It’s not fair, it just isn’t.
